Who is D. H. Schleicher?

I am an independent author, Phillies fan, and film enthusiast from the South Jersey suburbs of Philadelphia where I live with my wife and son.

My new historical literary fiction novel, Dark Like a Lake, will be released in the spring of 2027.

My previous novels include the historical thriller Then Came Darkness, which plumbs the depths of greed, revenge, and family dysfunction during the Great Depression; and West Falls Revisited, which pieces together a contemporary mosaic of a small town in crisis. My novels share some locations and characters, though all three works can stand on their own.

I also penned the thematically linked short story collections And Then We Vanish and When We Come Back.

Additionally my writing has appeared in A Million and One Magazine, Underground Voices, Scratch, Eunoia Review, LitNoir, and Wonders in the Dark.
