A Complete Bibliography and October Book Sale

On October 5th I’ll be at the Collingswood Book Festival. Being local to the fest, I’ve gone as a layman to peruse and buy books many times, but this will be my first time there as an author selling my books. All 4 of my books will be priced $10/piece at my booth, and for the month of October you can get that special discount on Amazon as well – see details and links below at the bottom of this post.

I’ve only ever marketed and sold my books online or in close circles of family, friends and acquaintances. The anxiety around doing the festival has my mind wandering down memory lane. Like most introverted writers, the hardest things for me to talk about face-to-face are my own books.

But if I’m gonna have to talk about my books to actual strangers in-person, I might as well put it all other there. It’s been a long road. And when the inevitable question comes up about how long have I been writing…the answer is forever (well, officially, since I was seven years-old).

Below is my bibliography of completed works (as best as I can remember from my school days) from ages 7 to 44. It was fun trying to remember all the stuff I wrote as a kid, and to see the evolution in titles and themes.

From elementary/middle school

  • The Diamond (a heist melodrama “written” in stick figures)
  • The Goddess of the Deep (I and II – a sea monster saga where my fourth-grade teacher drew an amazing cover of the monster)
  • Karnov / The Undead (some Dracula inspired fan fic, which I can still remember my dad typing up for me and putting it in a “fancy” report folder – my first “published” work)
  • The Craving (my take on werewolves)
  • The Wedding (a psychological/horror thriller)
  • The Doctor (a globe-hopping corporate espionage thriller)
  • Framed (a legal thriller)
  • Westmount (Twin Peaks meets The X-Files and a spiritual precursor to my latest novel West Falls Revisited)

From high school

  • Happy Cadavers (experimental apocalyptic fiction)
  • Paparazzi Kissed the Princess (maybe it was magic realism? Also, it was about reincarnation, I think…)

From my twenties – previously self-published psychological thrillers no longer “in print”

  • Crematorium
  • Carabolia
  • An Accidental House
  • The Thief Maker (a sturdy bridge between the “stuff” I had to write to grow and my current era)

My current era “Middle-Aged Indie Writer” works, all available worldwide anywhere fine books are sold and discounted for the month of October at $10/piece at the Collingswood Book Festival or on Amazon (regularly priced $10.99 – $15.99).

So, if you are local to the Philadelphia area, come by and see me on Saturday October 5th at the Collingswood Book Festival along the famous Haddon Avenue…or take advantage of the discounted sale prices on Amazon all month long.
